Endo's on a Hurricane?
Ok I have a 1988 Hurricane 1000.. its a really heavy bike (578 lbs). I'm running a Battlax 010 on the front (120/70) on stock pressure.
When I try to stoppie, I go about 25 mph, hit the brakes and compress the forks, then squeeze harder on the brakes, but the front tire always just squeels and locks.. Anyone think its possible to stoppie or endo on this bike?
Looks just like this:
Right click the [x] picture box and select 'show picture' if you have to.

It isn't easy, but you can do it, I have many times. You need to drop your pressure way down. I used to rock my hurricane every day. I think I used to run about 15-24 pounds in the front. If you want to sell it, I would think about buying it off of you.

I am considering selling it, I kinda need a car and i've got a CB450 geared up that I do all my wheelies on.. Isn't that a 600 in your avatar? I can't seem to bring up my 'cane worth ****. I can pop it up if I dump the clutch at 7k going about 10-15 mph, but I usually get wheel spin or nothing... I'm running a Battlax 020 on the rear too...
