Can't fuking stoppie for sh**!

Ok, I'm sure this question has been beaten into the ground and I've tried searching and have found some helpful info, but I still can't seem to endo. I have an '03 gsxr 600 and I get my tire warmed up on good dry concrete, get up to about 30-35mph and hit the brake and all I do is stop. Should I go faster? Be more aggressive with the brake? I have even tried bouncing the seat a little bit and I am practically sitting on the tank. I must have spent an hour last night just trying to get this crap down and nothing happened. Please give a brotha some help!!

I've done stoppies before, and I've also scared myself just stopping fast. I can't even do them anymore cause they scare me too much and I don't want to wreck my fork seals again.

you dont need to go any faster just to get it up. all i do is start stoppin at thirty and once you feel the forks compressed pretty tight (should be aroung 15 mph) just squeeze the front brake quick and you should be *** up. i do it just like that and im working on rollin em. but i need to invest into a steering dampener first. good luck

Going faster will definitely help... all mine roll out best when I start them at like 50 MPH or so....

YOu just need a steering damper and a good set o' *****.
YOu aren't coming up, because your aren't squeezing hard enough.
I can bring up the rear on an old water pumper that weighs a ton compared to the new bikes.

ok here how to do them.. im no pro, cant really roll far at all but i can get them up & down real smooth. so this should at least help you get the feel.

you go around 35ish, pull in your clutch when you are just learning so everything stays constant and you dont have to worry about stalling or engine break.......

start breaking lightly, lean forward with your arms straight (almost locked), once you feel the bike start to lean forward just give it a little more break. once you are in the air make sure you let off the brake so you can get used to the feeling of the back wheel off the ground. once you get used to it, stay on the brake a little more until you start rolling them out. your back wheel should be off the ground by the time you get to 25-30.

DONT GO UNDER 20 WHEN LEARING..... the reason for this is because at 20 mph if you go to far you have nothing to pull you back. at 35 ish, you can let go og the brake and the forward motion of your bike will bring your rear end down.

good instructions... i started out pretty much the same way, but i preload the front end wright before i pull the brake. when i feel the bike get some what weight-less in the rear, i release alittle brake and lean forward to get a better feal for the back tire height. it's hard... my furthest endo is 180ft. i'll keep trying, so should you. good luck...

Those bikes come stock with a damper.
It is a factory damper but none the less.

Re: Can't fuking stoppie for sh**!

if you still cant get the back up cuz your scared and dont know the feeling of having your back off the gound then try going 5-10 mph and bouncing the bike & slamming on the front brake. you back will come up about a foot or two and its almost impossible to flip at this speed. just stay away from 15-20 mph. good luck bro, keep on tryin
