"Look Mom, is that SUPERMAN at 12 o'clock?"
..."No dear, that's just twinisin trying to jump into a spreader on his daily turnpike route. He must have been watching those outmost extreme videos again." It looked so easy, so I tried it on the highway. Faster=better balance. So I'm standin' on my pegs goin' about 70 and made the jump for the tank. Holly shiiiitttt, that bike tried to get away from me . Next thing I know I'm being pulled by the bike, **** in the air, legs spread open as I'm rollin' off the throttle. The first part to rejoin my bike was my *******, on the cowling (farther away from the gas tank than I wanted to land), and that made the front come back again. Saved the bike but this was one time I wish I got pulled over. This way I would have a video of what not to do. So here's is the question: It still looks easy, though it's not, how do you go about making the jump while doin' a wheelie???? My nuts hurt and I only got two of 'em.

also you should have your tank dented and maybe a surfboard pad or something to hold you there.
youll see that once tou start doing this jump you kinda have to lean back after you hit the tank kinda like a spreader (lean back arms locked feet out and spread) youll see!!!!!!!!
keep me posted

REMEMBER- jumpin to a spreader is one of those things that require 100% commitment!!! when you do it a few times it gets very easy, but at first is a good way to wipe out hardcore. If you go to jump, and at the last second your panic instinct kicks in, you will not land on the tank successfully. trust me, I almost lost my first few. just remember to commit 100% and dont panic. also remember to keep your throttle steady as you can. if you jump too hard, your leg can hit your throttle hand, and and WOOPS, you just looped it. good luck brother

Never thought about kickin' my throtle hand, I probably would have too Can't ride in first yet, but I'll try it in second. Would it be easier to jump from standing on the seat instead of pegs? I can keep my front real high and close. One of the stunts I'm working on is highway 12'n standing on the seat, and getting better at it (aprox. 70mph). What I'm wondering based on my first attemp is will the bike stand up more when you jump, by momentarly taking the counterweight off the pegs? Should I slightly roll off for a split second, chop it maybe?

Ok, finally got to ride today so I tried jumping. This **** is hard mannn. Tried in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, standin on pegs standin on the seat. Kicked my right hand a few times, but I actually landed one and caried it for a few seconds in 3rd. It's hard to hold on, my *** kept slippin of the tank. Oh yeh, you weren't kidding about jumping with both feet simotaniously, the one time I didn't, when I landed, I thought I was bull riding. Thanks for the tip guys!!!!!!
