steering in a wheelie

Im doing 2nd gear wheelies and having trouble steerring it, ive read posts that say lean to the side you want to go but it dont seem to work. Does the bike have to be at bp to steer it. I have it pretty damn close to bp but i cant keep it there the whole time. If i want to go to the right should i be putting more weight on the right peg or should i lean my body to the right?

It really doesnt have to be but it will help alot. How far are you leaning maybe it seems like a lot too you but it has to be enough past the center point of the bike to steer it. Make sure your hips flex out to the direction you want to steer, maybe just leaning your shoulders isnt enough?!

Re: steering in a wheelie

Its hard to steer when your not near the balance point. Higher and slower = better steering

the higher you are the easier it is to steer . . . if you are doing a sitdown, steer with your upper body, if you are doing a stand-up, steer with your hips . . .

^ what he said. During a standup, to steer right, kind of push your *** out to the right.
