96 ZX6R +4 rear...

Hi...

I'm looking for some opinions from those with experience with -/+teeth, and not the pearly ones. ;-)

What kind of change is expected from changing the rear sprocket of a '96 ZX6R to +4?

+4 is crazy......jump.. you should just go +2 in the rear.......

thats my two cents.....

I have a zx7 and a gixxer 750 and that is all I did =2 inthe rear and both machine are easy to wheelie....

hi mandingo: ya that's what I've heard, I was just wondering if it's a huge difference.

Thanks for your reply Gixxer_Killerss... I'm not very throttle crazy so I don't think I'd abuse the +4, but you did give me your opinion and that is exactly what I appreciate.

Honestly, my bike has been wheelied some nice heights, just never while I've been riding it. I just couldn't seem to get the wheel up more than a few inches. I'm just trying to get a feel for what others have done.

I wouldn't trip going 4 up, not much different than one down. A lot of "quick acceleration" kids are 1 down 2 up. Just do it! You won't be disappointed. My bike is 1 down 10 up so 4 up aint nothin!
