heya,
have a 96 cbr 900.....it came with a loud as butt d n d pipe.......want to change without rejetting.......any recomends?

 

throw that thing in the dumpster and is it a full pipe or a slip on if its a slip on just change it no jetting required

 

I have Two Borthers and love it best balance between sound and loudness.. its kind of louder then yosh and softer and deeper then D&D

 

I never knew there was such thing as "too loud"

 

found a nice spot to practice nobody bothers me.(being anti social this is nice) and don't want to lose it.........just getting comfy there.

 

Put on the stock pipe so the popo don't hear you.

 

That's what I did....when I first got my R6 I bought a D&D, it was cool until I started playing around and the cops could here me coming.....I traded that b*tch for a stock one.....I just shortened it up a bit

 

me neither i love my d&d i even cut it down 6 inches!! its loud as hell!! FTP

anything but a d&d get a two brother yosh, akropovic, fmf, micron jardine, two devil anything but a d&D.

I was draging sub frame and tore the riveits out of my pipe and cut it down it was a two brother and it still sounds good just a little louder

 

I have a D&D and hate it.(came wtih the bike) I think I am starting to suffer from hearing loss because of it. I am thinking about getting a stock can from ebay...

 

Tru that. my next bike will def have stock exhaust....or at least a half way quiet one.

 

I have a '96 900RR with a D&D slip on. I don't think it's too loud.

I would describe it as deeper and softer than the stock can.
