pls help me with looong endos

hi fellas!

i run aftermarket brakepads on a zx9 (´99er) and a stiff setup on the front fork.

i actualy got the secret of balance some endoes and ride them out, but í can´t roll them longer than about 40m , cause alway when i got more speed on the 2nd gear and tap the brake pads to the disk and get my tail up for an endo, the bike comes to the leftside.

i also have a Öhlins stabilizer, but it doesn´t really help much more.
what´s my prob?

got to get to balance and also have enough speed to carry you further. Once you hit balance point, you dont have to use as much brake. Plus, dont look down, look straight ahead of you.

The damper is just to prevent head shake which I asume its doing. Its up to you in which direction the bike goes. If you keep going to the left you say, try to notice which side of the seat your *** is closer to, left or right. Once you figure out which side your closest to move your *** to the opposite side and you will notice you will vere off to the right while endoing. Now that you got that down, you just learned how to control the endo. *** around with it, its all in the hips.

Hell that sounds far enough for me about 120 feet or so. I can only get about 20 feet on my zx-9

From the pic it looks like you have your upper body leaned to the left. That is how you steer them, and is most likely the problem. Try to stay centered, other than that your form looks good.

Also, you may want to take a good look at the road you are on. If there is a camber to the road (uneven) that will definatly cause the rear to come around. As far as rolling them it sounds like your doing fine but if you want them longer just get the rear up quick and try different speeds. Personally I think your doin fine the more you ride the longer they'll get. Plus, I'll say this one more time beware of aftermarket pads some race compounds take a long time to warm up and reach 100% they may also cause damage to your stock discs.
On steering dampers, tight as you can adjust it for endos you'll have better results However, I find that for setting wheelies down you want it set a little looser to get the best effect (all depends on what damper you have) I have a scotts and I leave it on stock settings for (attempting wheelies) and almost all stoppies unless I try for a 180 in that case I set it stiff.

aha, i always thought that i have to steer the endo. when i try to steer it, i feel like that i ride the bike. otherwise when i keep straight, i feel like that the bike rides me

what´s my prob?

Hi guys...I had the same prob with the ace swingin out from behind me...i've been locking up my arms tighter and sqeezing the tank with my knees, this has helped a lot...i feel your frustration with wanting to roll them out longer though(i'm only going about 50ft right now) So, if anyone has any advice that leads to me doing so, there just may be a nice prize in it for them...he he

1.the street has to be flat and without any holes, and else.
2.before you get up, be sure that your bike rolls completely straight
do not stare at the ground but look far forward (don´t know the right word).
when you have enough speed you have to hug your tank with your legs, get the tail up, and try do get it higher and higher untill you feel comfortable with the frontbrake. when u´re high enough you don´t have to brake with the full power, but just lean the pads on the disks. i only brake with about 5-10%
when the tail comes to the left, push your *** to the right, and your shoulder also to the left but always left your arms stiff and straight-that´s the way i do.
i hope i helped you out a little bit allthough my english is just a dictionary english
