what to do with an 86 Honda
I picked up a 86 Honda Interceptor for verry short change. The bike is old, heavy, and not in the best shape but has very few miles. I have changed the sprockets, but it does not lift up easily, prob cause it weighs more than a tank. My question is... what can I do to this bike to stunt it? Would I be better off pulling the motor and drop in something else or to just get something newer and lighter? It runs great, its just almost 20 years old and is heavy as hell!
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated! I posted this in the Newbie forum but got no response, so I figured I would try here.
Thanks!

The amount of damage to the clutch is not noticable. You really should just clutch it up. If you want to know what you would be better off doing, of course you should get a newer, lighter bike. Re: what to do with an 86 Honda
If its old it was probably cheap. Perfect stunt bike, clutch it up and you'll be fine. Worst that happens is you have to replace the clutch in a year and thats not too expensive or hard anyways.

Shim your fork springs by at least an inch. Get good breaks, big sprocket, loud cut-off pipe, and an M.R.E. or A.R.T. clutch/basket. I'd love to have my hands on it, that thing wheelies so nice..............it's a trip
