929 clutch

I had a question about scuffing the steels on the clutch, what do I use to scuff them , and do you just scuff them in one direction or does it matter. plus the little steel orings that go in first the one that is misshaped does it go in first or second, or does it matter. I just trying to get this done perfect, the last clutch only lasted a month. when putting extra oil in how much can i put in with out making the clutch slip.

Re: 929 clutch

A lot of questions. I havent had to scuff anything when puting in a clutch.A clutch such last a long time u need to learn to snap it and not burn it. The clutch will not slip if u use motorcyls oil. It is made for wet clutches. I wouldn't put in any more than one quart over cause u can blow ur engine.

Good luck
