after you park a 12, then what?

ok, so after you park your 12, and you get off the bike and get the props from all your boys, how do you get the thing back down? Start it up, put in gear, give it some gas and put on the rear brake? .........

When I do that my bike bump-starts itself from the momentum of it coming down. The first time I did it, I actually crashed cuz the bike started up and rode out from under me. Luckily no girls were watching.
