check and see where your petcock is located...if it is near the front of the gas tank then it is b/c you arent getting gas..im not sure how that would be fixed

 

ya, changes are it's either flooding out by holding the carbs open (floats move upward) or when it's back like that the gas is going straight to the overflows and it's starving for gas.

If it idles high right before it shuts off on the bar, then that means it's not getting gas (lean causes high idle) but if it just straight bogs down and dies then it's probably opening the floats and flooding the engine out. My fiddy floods out when it's on the tail.

how do you fix this. im getting pissed i cant 12 without stalling. my bar is right up against the tail

 

well, unfortunately there is no fix. You can try to adjust the float height in the carbs but it really won't work. Only thing you can do is come in crazy fast when you put it on the bar so it just drags because of the speed. It's going to stall out in about 5 seconds or so though.
