i tried my buddys rectifier regulator and it didnt fix it i have no voltage omming back to the battery what can it be?

 

subsitute a good battery and try that

Just went through the exact same issue. I have the exact same bike. It is your stator.

Unless the battery is a full short you should still be able to diagnose. Get your jumper cables out, put a voltmeter on the battery and have your car charge it for a while. I am able to ride my bike for an hour after I get to 14V consistent on my battery. It will drop to 12.4 when you take off your cables but make sure you get it over 12v when charging. It supersaturates the battery, keeps it healthy.
