Wheelie help please!

Hey everyone I could use some guidance,

Well first of all I am riding a GSX-R 1000K3 so I have no clue why I am having so much trouble but here is my dillema. I am just learning to roll on wheelies. Basically in first gear I can get the front end about 1-2 feet off the ground by compressing the suspension. Now I have heard of people being able to just all throttle it in 1st AND 2nd gear on their 1000's so I have no clue what I am doing wrong here but there is no way I can get the front end up in 2nd gear and I know that I can bring the front end higher in 1st gear I just don't know what's wrong. Also I have not been brave enough to clutch up that monster and when I do I will only try it in 3rd gear when I am comfortable so here are my questions: 1. How can I get my front end higher in a roll on in 1st? 2. How can I roll it on in 2nd? 3. What is a good RPM range to rev it up to when using the clutch in 3rd gear?

Thanks for the help guys.
