just stay on the gas. if youre topping out the gear and coming down, then youre not at balance point. get it up a tad higher. i ride an f3 too and the BP definately seems pretty high

Is the bike up to the point where the R's begin to drop and you feel you need less throttle to keep it up? If not, then get on the throttle a bit more, til you feel the R's start going down, then get out of the throttle, or at least modulate it a bit, and use the rear brake some. Balance point is what it's all about.
To keep second up, you need more input than first(Obviously, which I'll assume you already knew...you seem pretty level headed), so give it a tad bit more gas when you tap clutch, for a more smooth, quicker come up. The sooner it gets high, the further you can ride out the gear.

Re: alright boys, need help keepin it up....
yea, im clutchin it up high enough in my opinion, im gettin about as high as ur pic in ur avatar F4rider, but the thing is, sometimes it comes up so fast and high that i either panic and chop the throttle, or when i do get it up and it feels comfortable, it just comes crashin down
, thats another thing, i cant set her down gently.. im basically clutchin it up from n e where from a dead stop, to 5 miles an hour...

Keep on the gas. I had the same problem till someone told me too keep on the gas. Once you get it up dont immediatly let off. barly let off and tryto ride it out. And cover the rear brake.
