I am pretty sure that an F3 will not do 160 even if you dropped it from an airplane but -1 +3 should help out the wheelies and keep most of your top end

Re: f3 wheelie sprockets

My f3 stock would run like 158 for like 2 miles but would not pull red line I put a -1 down on the front and it would pull rev limiter in high gear and the speedo read 168 so I figure it didn't hurt me at all on top end may 2 or 3 mph put a -1 and 2 this should help out a lot and shouldn't hurt your top end but about 10 or 12 mph. My boyz F3 -2 +17 and his will run 99.17 on rev limiter at the local drag strip.

Re: f3 wheelie sprockets

-1/+3 is money and you will get to the topspeed so much faster than before. and you will be able to actually wheelie. wheelying is all about the gear on your bike not the rider and their skill. you dont need to practice just gear your sh7t.

Re: f3 wheelie sprockets

my f3 indicates 160mph even, in top of 6th gear. dont know how accurate that is, but thats what it says stock geared, for now. i plan on going -1+3

Re: f3 wheelie sprockets

sarcasm...sarcasm...sarcasm
i am just commenting on how everyone wants to get gearing to wheelie and not enough people are out practicing their sh7t just gearing it to make it come up.

it is far to common of SL to hear 'i have a bike and what gearing should i get to get my bike to wheelie'

Re: f3 wheelie sprockets

my 93 F2 topped at 143 or so before i geared it...it hit 141-143 with ease after going +2 on the rear...then dropped to 137 after changing my front sprocket...now im going to go 3 more up on the back and i know that is going to burder the top end...but all gearing does is just make it easier to wheelie...i think when i get on a gixxer1k ill be able to ride them for a long time due to what i have learned on my crunchy 600 of d00m

Re: f3 wheelie sprockets

i am 21ing my **** and its still stock. gearing will help though, i'm looking to put some one sometimes soon to start trying slow ****. you can easily go -2 and have alot more power to wheelie and be fine. if you want an f3 cage hit me up i make them.
