929 clutch

burned up my clutch last night, doing a rolling burn out, How hard is this to fix, I mean its just the case on the right side of the bike take it off pull the clutch plats put them back on in the same order I took them off . let me know if thats right or if there is some more sh it im missing.

if u have a 00 929 check the pin that goes through the clutch cover to make sure it is not cracked where it pulls on the pin going thru the clutch basket...they are known to break...fixed for 01 though.
pull the cover off, take the 5 10mm bolts out, pull the plates out in order (the first and last plates are different) and reinstall new ones. Make sure to soak your new fiber plates in oil for like 1-2 hours b 4 installing. If the steels are blue I'd get new ones (that me) or you can scuff them with coarse scotch brite

Replacing the clutch is fairly easy, I would buy the stock honda clutch the directions are easy to follow just make sure you soak the plates in oil for a good amount of time..........honda-4-life :YEAH :YEAH
