Question....

I accidently scraped for my first time today, and I slightly tweaked my subframe (the right side is higher than the left). It's not really noticable unless you stare, but still...

What do you do to bend it back?

Re: Question....

just take about a four foot piece of strong stell and put it over the one side of the sub and under on the other and have a big buddy hold/sit on the bike and push the piece of metal towards the groud until its straight

Re: Question....

leave it, if you bend it back and it gets bent again and so on and so on it will get even weaker and might break. Like when you bend a wire back and forth till it breaks.

Re: Question....

yeah, but if you bend it back its good and straight. dont just go out and do it again so you bend it again, this time brace it up so its harder to bend...

Thats the easiest way. I just want to add that if you strap the bike into your truck/trailer it works better than making your friend hold the bike straight.

You're definitely correct about degrading the structural integrity, but leaving it crooked really isnt an option.
Learning to scrape on a crooked bar is continuous crashing waiting to happen.
