any1 relocated idle adjustment button/screw

i have an 03 R1 and i am getting into slow stuff. this past weekend i noticed some of the guys moved the idle adjusment screw/button that is normally underneath all the cowling to between the tank and the frame i think that is a great idea.. basically what do i have to do to do this should it be long enough to move it up there or do i have to make it longer.. if someone could explain what they did that would be great thanks!!

i moved mine on my 750. it was long enuf to move between the tank and frame. i just tightened the tank down and found a spot on the cable that its not pinching it too hard and works great. i though i would spin when i adjust it but it doesnt, hope this helps bro....

ok i have to look at mine i am not sure if its long enough someone told me it isnt and i would have to get a 2nd one and take the adj **** off and weld them together to piggy back them together to make it work.. i would rather not do that but if i have to then i have to..
