Re: stoppie question

try getting your *** out of the seat and leaning forward (almost like your leaning over to grab the fender) while slowly and steadily applying brake till you feel the rear come off the ground..

it's not something your going to just 'get' it's something that takes time to learn and get a feel for (like how much brake to apply, how fast and when the rear end will come up, and how fast it's gonna come up)

Re: stoppie question

Roll on the brakes gradually until you feel the forks load up and then give it that little extra grip. At the same time, take your weight off the seat and put it over the tank. The way I can best describe it is....it feels like I'm holding myself on the bike using my arms only....like you're doing push ups.

Try getting comfortable going 35-ish and doing it. If you're tire pressure is around 23-25 ish, you should be able to bring it up. I know this sounds stupid but it's actually easier the faster you're going. Make sure your tires are warmed up and you should be able to get enough grip to get it airborne.

Re: stoppie question

Don't go there with a busa. I've got abit of experience with them and stoppies AREN'T one thing there good for. Use your practicing time for better busa stunts like high speed/hwy wheelies, burnouts and dragging. Trust me, busa's don't kile stoppies.

Re: stoppie question

damn!!!! on a busa?? i rode my buddies and when the weight started to come up it didnt feel like it was gonna stop. good tire, good brakes and lots of practice, i would learn on something a little smaller to get the feel fo them, my zx6r was perfect in my opinion. did it on that for a year then bought my 900rr and it made it alot easier. but it is definitly alot different on a heavier bike.
