I have been using the dunlop 207's for years now, never did me wrong. I like them cuzz there a sumwhat good tyre for cheap. Considering tyres last me less than two months its the only way to go.

I'm no stoppie king (I hope to be some day) although I can say for sure Pirelli Supercorsa race tires are one of the best. They just grip so well in hot, cold, wet... you name it. I know Thew uses this tire as well. More than likely you will be able to find them used from people that race. This is becoming a very popular race tire. Check out your local bike shops. The sides may be spent although the center should be fine.

Pilot sports are good as well.

Re: Dunlop Sportmax & endos

the dunlop sucks because it never seems to grip, but more importantly it has too steep of a profile...not enough contact patch when you are rolling, makes for quicker tank slap.

i've run pilots which are nice, avon azaros which are real nice and grip all the time, the lates tire is the metzler m1 which i think is one of the best. it has great wear time and grips in varying temps. i ride during the winter and the avons/metzlers always grip once you get them heated up.

dunlops are the best on the track and make great rear tires, but i hate the fronts for endoes. this is coming from someone who raced on both pirellis and dunlops. i've also tried my old tearoffs from both these manufacturers, and i changed the dunlop after one day it was so bad.

good luck, go with avon, metzler, or michelin
