Its all a feel thing... start with a little gas( 6,000 rpm) and a semi-sharp clutch dump and work them up untilyou get it.

exactly what he said above. start your revs low then increase revs according to how high it brings it up. I was scared shitless when i started clutching. But then again, i learned wheelies using clutch first. Either way, i'm really comfortable now and glad i started with the clutch like everyone said :YEAH

Re: clutching it up method

Hey bro I just went out and tried some 2nd gear clutches about 20 mins ago. I went about 25 mph clutch in and revved to about 9k rpm and dump. It could feel it pop up off the ground almost 60% of the time I tried. However the hard part is to keep it going once its off the ground. I think that part is trickier, like you have to give it even more throttle afterwards...

edit*

Also it may just be me but use 2 fingers on the clutch. The remaining fingers on the handgrips will stop you from pulling the clutch in all the way. But it leaves you in a great place to slip it back in!
