how good ya think you gatta be to start competing at shows and how do you get into it

I compete sometimes, and I suck. Unless its a big comp, they'll let anyone in.

I would suggest going to a local dragstrip on a day they are allowing people to come in off of the street and either race or stunt. It's a good way to get the feel of being on a dragstrip, cause it is a little different than the street, and being in front of a crowd of spectators. Any experience you can get is a step forward, but can be embarrassing at times as well!

great advice there

i started whenever i felt comfortable. i love comps. even if i'm not that good, still fun to try.

Start at small local comps and work your way up as you start winning.
OR you could go squid in front of the pros....Not good for ego
