Question Help a n00b, sit downs on a 500...

I am new to the stunt scene and have been learning to ride a streetbike all summer. Im extremely comfortable on my machine, but I cant seem to get the front end up on my machine. I know it's a small bike (GS500E) but im selling in the spring and wanted to play on it for right now.

I have tried boucing it but it wont come up at all. Im a big guy, 5'10" and 235lbs. Any help you have I would appreciate.

Even with that bike sprocketed It is pretty tough for an advanced rider to do any wheelies on it.

No offense but you need a better bike. My advice, get at least a late 90's 600 and then try somthin!!!!!

Umm, have you tried almost pinging it and dump the clutch. It worked for my EX500. That thing sucks but after practice I got it up with the bounce technique. It's all about timing and balance also.

ex500's are completely different from gs500s, i've got a friend on an ex who pulls wheelies all day long, but when i try to ride my girlfriends gs, even though i can bounce my front end up in 3rd without the clutch, i can't even get her bikes front end to budge in first, with or without the clutch,

the only thing i can say is to stand on the back pegs, start bouncing it as hard as you can, and use the clutch, but yeah, i don't know, that bike's difficult

your top speed will stay plenty above 75-80 stock gearing will take you to around 140 if the motor could pull it. my next gear change will probally be -1/+3 maybe 4 (15/42 or 43) the gs will run at 8 grand or higher all day with no problems, just keep an eye on your oil
