Help how to do wheelies

This might sound stuped but...Can some one give me tips on doing a wheelie??? Not that I cant, but more like doing wheelies for a long time. now with the 88-kit, it's alot easyer to bring it up but I can't keep it up. I start in 2nd gear because of it's desent speed, and with the 88-kit it picks the front up quick...and I play around with the throttle for a second or soo then the front comes back down(some times its because i lean to my left or to my right). How do you do it. Can some one HELP ME DO WHEELIES???????????????????????????????????????

there are plenty of threads on this already, pretty much u just have to get comfortable w/ having hte front tire up, once u find ur balance point its all about feathering the throttle. All i can say is practice practice practice, it wont come instantly.

when the bike is really high and feels light its at the balance point.

He probably means:

Treatit like a feather duster... opening and shuting the throttle ever so slightly... looking for that nervonic balance point.
