endo trouble

The back tire always kicks out to the right when i do an endo. I have tried changing brake pads and every body position possible to keep the bike straight. especialy at high speed the *** end always kicks to the right and I end up in a bad situation: having to set it down somwhat sideways. I really don't want to have lop sided suspension settings. the fork seals look good and so does head bearing. any ideas????

It's how you are leaning when you launch the endo. Try moving your body around a little bit. I had the same problems when I first started. Just takes time and practice, you'll figure it out.

when I was learning endos that happened to me too, but it was from extra input I was putting on the right clip-on from grabbing the brake. What I did to correct it was get up to speed, let go of the bars and square your shoulders, then grab the bars and do your thang. Helped me...give it a shot

make sure the road you are on is flat...

if you are on the right side and the road is sloped down on the right (like most STREETS are sloped on both sides) you will kick out to the right hard.

other than that, your suspension is uneven, or body positioning is not correct. try locking the tank with your knees and lock your elbows.

The other thing that can cause this without knowing is: If you are pulling on the right clip-on when you grab the front brake, it will swing your ***-end around to the right. If you are doing this, first try to keep the bars straight and not pull on the right, if this doesn't work try pulling on the left a little as you pull in the front brake, it might compensate for you unconsiously pulling on the right bar...

Sorry if this ain't too clear, I ben drunking a whilez...

Latez!!!!

If it swings to the right push on the right handle bar if it swings to the left push on the left but you have to do it before it swings too far or you wont bring it back. I used to have the same problem when i owned an r6 and i started playin with it one day and figured it out. trust me dude it works

try this: when u are doing the endo try to focus on something straight ahead directly in front of you. i know it sounds crazy but you actually travel in the direction that you are looking. at least for me, when i look in a different direction other than straight my bike tends to follow. anyways, its worth a try. also, just try to keep your arms straight.

If you are riding in a side wind, the bike might be leaned over and you might not notice it, this will cause you to "kick out" in that direction. The road being on a camber can cause it also.

If the first one pushes your rear to the right... on the second one be ready to push on the right handle bars a tad.

Pick out a landmark to start your stoppie at, and try to roll to a certain target, double back and try to add distance, this worked for me better then just grabbing stoppies on the way to a stop sign all the time. In fact we took chalk and made us measurements in between the lines so we could tell every five feet.
