how do you guys feel about thumb brakes for stuntin :YEAH :YEAH

 

I feel that it's cheating but that's my personal opinion

 

Man i though I knew everything but I have never heard of a thumb break what is it.

 

lots of people think it's considered cheating, but in my opinion there are no rules to break, no such thing as cheating. all it does it make it a different style but whatever works for you. i wouldn't mind one just so i could rock highchairs past the point

if you are unsure whether or not a mod would be cheating... check craigjones.com if he has it on his bike it is automatically classified as cheating.

if you can put 60+ sprokets and dirt bike bars and 12 oclock bars on then how is a thumbreak cheating????

it's a rear brake lever that is hooked up to the bars so that you can use your thumb instead of using your foot to cover the brake... i was thinking about getting one hooked up to my Buell before I got rid of it... it may be in the works for the Honda once I get a few other things for it.

 

Are there any companys that make a kit or do you have to come up with a setup of your own?

 

thumbrake = handbrake.......its not neccesarily operated by your thumb....in fact most guys that run em' just run a full extra caliper/master cyl. and brake lever (usually under or above their clutch).

thumb brakes= stunts!!!
