No they wont fit an srad gixxer just the newer ones. If you're just starting to learn to go slow start with 1 or 2 down and 3 up. Should work with the stock chain if it's in good condition. If you need a chain then I would go ahead and go lower, somewher in the 2 and 6-10 range. That way you don't have to buy a chain again.

Right now I have 1 down, and 5 up. Im just starting out too, right now the bike doesnt seem twitchy. It came with 1 down, 2 up. Rear sprocket wore out so I just jumped to 5. Im still trying to slow things down, will this set up be twitchy for me? Or is it anything pretty much over +6 that starts getting twitchy?

Once I get use to this, if needed I might go-2/+5. Or maybe even -1/+8-10. But for now Im just going to stick to the -1/+5 set-up.

Practice with close to stock gears. You will become better in the long run. Going to big to quick without being comfortable will hurt you in the long run.

I have a 2001 ZX-9 with 1 down in front and 60 tooth on back= top speed of 130 or so. (Downside) Does me allota good, can pull it up in 6th just by dumping the cluth and revs to 8000. I done it for slows wheelies, most anyone can do them fast, slow takes more skill and will prolly never get old. Also if you REALY wanna freak a motherfuker on the highway out, pull up next to them at 70 in 5th gear and ride next to him all the way to town!! (using brake to stay right next to him) It is realy easy for me with that big *** sprocket, its whatever you are comfortable wit I guess, no wrong way in my opinion.

Ride Out!~~

Re: Pizza Pie Sprockets

stock front and +4 on the back. I know it sound weak, but it helped getting the front wheel off the ground on the RR without going crazy on the revs.
