High chair question

Are most people doing these in second or first? I have a gixxer 1000 and just started trying them in second. Seems to work okay. I have to give it a lot more gas then a normal wheelie before dropping the clutch but I figure thats normal because of my added weight on the front end. Are most people clutching these up also?
Only problem with them right now is my *** and calves hurt like hell the day after I tried doing this.
Do people remove the mirrors to make it easier to get their feet over the windscreen or is there another reason? Thanks

i'm -1 + 6 so its a little easier. but I clutch up in 2nd, and I can power it up in 1st or clutch. Mostly in 1st though.

SH*T! PavementEater -1 +6! thats gotta be fun. What gearing did you have before? I got -1 +3. I'm up for a new set of sprockets & chain, thinking of gearing a bit more but not to much. How much top end speed have you lost?

i use mostly second when i had stock gears. I went -1 +5 and i was gettin it up in 3rd. 3rd was a liittle sketchy b/c i had to use a lot of gas and clutch and i would be goin like 110Mph when i put it down. No more of those being that my clutch is slipping. Nice b/c my bike is 5 months old. Ha Ha. It's a stuntbike i don't give a ****.

When mine was stock geared 2nd was no problem. Just get it up and roll it forever. Now I'm 2 and 8 and 2nd gear you can do from roll and I use third on the highway.
