i just stand on the seat in 2nd gear and then just clutch it up....just make sure your centered.....i can't start off with both feet on the seat and goto a flamingo i have to let one foot rest on my rear seat and kick it out when i get the bike up

yeah, not so much as worried about the flamingos, i want to get both feet on the seat and wheely. its hard, i do it at low speeds too like 10-15mph and lift, maybe thats why, i'll try it goin faster.

ya, i just got it in my head one day and did it.

i put both feet in the seat and kinda halfway kneel down so i can reach the clip ons, get it in second, roll about 15 mph or so and clutch it up. Make sure you are centered and you don't move much cause small movements cause big change when you are inline with the bike like that.

It'll take some time getting used to getting it high becuase you don't have a brake to save your ***.

I start as a regular stand up on the pegs. Then once I got the wheelie where I want it, put one foot on the seat at a time.

Just curious why is everyone saying to start in second. When I stand on the seat and wheelie I start in first going slow.. I am assuming it is just preferance but it would seem that clutching it up in first while going slower, when First starting, could result in less severe injuries.. Am I way off base here?

if you are in first you are going slower, and clutching first it usually is too jumpy and twitchy and easy to loop. you need about 20-25 mph and taht makes it more stable so you dont fall over. it's hard to balance side to side going slow.

i just roll on in second, jump to the seat and extend. much smoother, more fluid and looks great. all the same advice applies esp. little changes mean big sh*t happens.

more speed equals more stable bike.....i do mine about 40-50 and i don't make a lot of movements, i make quick precise movemnts so it doesn't throw the bike around.

first time i pull a trick i try it in first. get the feel of it. but like seat stands are unstable the way i stop my wobbles is that i turn my wheel. i don't know its weird tryin to stop wobbles with your hands and not your feet.
