insurance is for when you dont have enough cash to fix your bike.....that is why we pay the extra money for "full coverage"... meaning "cover anything". If i wasnt gonna stunt, i would have "liability". So shut the **** up about people claiming insurance. That is what its there for and if any one of you guys was in that kids (gixxer-600) financial position you would have done the same exact thing.... Stop bitching... my $.02

Insurance usually doesn't cover "exhibition" riding, which stunting is... hence the reason you probally didn't tell the ins. agent or police what you were doing. I really believe, if you stunt it, crash it, you pay it. But thats another subject.

What really amazes me, is why did you pay some much for a katana? I bought mine brand new when I started riding and was out the door for less than what you still owe on it.

As for repairing it, its really doubtful it cost that much to repair it. Besides you can get everything at cost, or nearly cost online, and do the work yourself and rarely does it cost more than a few grand to repair a wreck.

blah blah blah...bunch of crybabys you people are....if i had full coverage i would throw my bikes out the back of a pickup truck on the highway when i was ready for a new one.... either that or just blow it the **** up with some gas..... my 3rd bike was tottalled 2 months after i bought it from a wheelie...they paid it off and i bought it back for 1300 i saved me over 10,000

What is full coverage insurance for then. If its your fault then you probably were doing something stupid, stunting or not. If its not your fualt then the other persons insurance will probably pay. So whats the point of full coverage in your reasoning.

i think what he is trying to say is that, insurance charges sooo damn much for coverage of any kind for us....

why- because we are more liable to wreck the thing.... (stunting)

so the idea being if nobody claimed it when they stunt our rates would eventually go down... how true that is, im not sure. but i do agree with the idea for the most part...

i do understand the kids position and i might have even claimed it too..... as for paying soo much for the kat, sounds wierd
