I Can Finally Get It Up In Second!

Well barley. Thats where the question comes in. The two times i really revved the **** out of it and dropped the clutch it felt like the clutch was sticking and this caused me to tense up and point the bars to the left both times. A scary thing indeed. So Is it possible im just not dropping the clutch fast enough?

I have an r6 by the way.

I thought I had that problem too when I started riding wheelies. Until I figured out that you really dont need a clutch to get it up in second. Bounce it and wack the throttle at the same time right before the power turns on! Let it come up till it feels uncomfortable....then just play with the throttle little by little.

You have a point with the slow stuff and using the clutch, but the last thing you wanna do is, is to start slammin clutchs if you cant wheelie with power in the first place. Learn the balance point, then start using the clutch.

hey

Hey justin, saw your post. Make sure your clutching it. Its a lot safer than powering it. Next time your out riding with me ask me and I'll show you the motion needed. On your 600 you should be opening your throttle wide open and NOT laying back until the bike is going up up and away.... My guess is your not giving it full throttle or your letting off on it subconciously before you've brought the front end high enough.

Also you should be almost dumping the clutch at the exact same time your cracking the throttle wide open. **ALMOST**

WHAT?????

Yeah if you want to loop it

Stock gears on an R6 I would say about 8,500 rpms in second....but don't do it by looking at the tach. Do it by listening to the motor. Just take steps. rev it up a little dump the clutch....the tire will just pop up a few inches.....next time rev just a little more...same thing just a little higher....You'll get it after a while
