turned up idle

i know that turning your idle up helps with the 12's but does it tear up your tranny putting it in first? also is it wise to use the stock rear pads on my 929 or do i need to go ahead and spring for the HH pads like i have on the fronts...keep in mind i am a long way from doing slow wheelies but i want to know all i can before i really get into it

use stock pads, you dont want the brakes to be super touchy, and i would recommend stock brake line too

I don't think it is good for it. My RR goes in easy but it doesn't sound like it wants to. I usually leave it in 1st or kill it b 4 I put it in gear. If u are rolling in neutral and shift to 1st it goes in quietly and smooth.

I noticed that too. I push off with my feet to get it moving a little first, it helps alot.

Use the kill switch when shifting from neutral. flip it off, switch, flip it on.

at least you don't have to jump off for every stop sign

I guess you're talking about slamming it into gear after the idles is turned up....why not just start it in gear?
