Re: Clutch Not Engaging ?

Also I just got off my bike and clutched one up to bp and rode it for about 20-30 sec straight up and down. Oil dumped out of a hose on the left side and is all over the tire and bottom and rear of the bike

Re: Clutch Not Engaging ?

you need to do the clean air mod , you just pumped a bunch of oil into your air box and the oil is draining out the air box drain ...

thats how alot of people blow up their 636's

Re: Clutch Not Engaging ?

this picture is of an 03 04 but it's pretty much the same set up for the 05 06

take the vacuum line marked ''a'' off the ''t'' and stick a long screw in the vacuum line..

connect hoses ''b'' and ''c'' like in the picture , i used a piece of electrical conduit and some hose clamps ..

block off the holes left in your air box by hose ''b'' and ''c''

this way no oil can get into your combustion chamber it will be routed straight to the exhaust port and will just burn off with out doing any damage ..

i just started looking into that today, wasnt sure exactly what the mod was for, it is clear to me now. by running it through the exhaust wouldnt the bike burn alot of oil?
