throttle housing screws

throttle housing screws

so i am in the process of flippin my clip onsand i cannot get thelittle screws in the throttle housing to turn. i dont want to strip the threads anymore than what has been done in my efforts. any tips to gettin those little ******* out? and if not what are my option on removing it?

Re: throttle housing screws

take a 3/8 extension (or any flat punch big enouph to cover the head of the screw) and a hammer...put the extension flat on the head of the screw and give it a good smack...it will flatten the head in so your screw driver will bite again and the impact will break the screw loose...in most cases...my require repeating but it is a good trick that has worked for me hundreds of times if that doesnt work an impact driver should do the trick...
