i have a gas tank i just bought from a guy and he didn't have a key for it. i know that the gas in it is bad so i was going to get a key made for it but couldn't because someone broke something off in the lock. just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get the cap out so i could just replace it with a new one? i've tried everything!!!

get a big drill bit and drill out the lock mechanism..

 

just take the screws outta the out side of it? if it has them. or drill that bitch!
