Are they the same? what different im asking because i have a set of forks and im not sure what they are but not factory f4i and i need a triple clamp!! thanks in advance.

 

yes. However f4i and 929 are completely different. F4i=conventional. 92954=inverted.

 

Visually you probably won't be able to tell a 929 and a 954 fork
apart from each other with out having them next to each other...

 

Even then you can't...because they are the same.

 

Isn't the 954 a little shorter than the 929??

The Preload screw on the bottom of the fork is different. Other then that, they should be identical as far as design.....954/929 uses the same triple tree....So to the author, it doesnt matter what triple tree u get as long as its made for 50mm forks, LoL

 

im running all 954/929 stuff on the front of my f41 so i needed those awnsers thanks alot.

 

So wht you are saying is 954 forks will work on a factory f4i?
