f4i over heatin

Runs typically 190 plus all the way up to 231 constantly. Just flushed radiator and put water wetter and new anti freeze in. Could the thermostat be bad? Also anyone know how to put the fan on a toggle so i can switch it on and off manually? And is there a sensor for the tail light to brighten when u push the brake in? Mine just stays lit all the time.

grounding the wire that goes to the sensor on your radiator will turn the fan on when the key is on and there is a switch for the front brake and the back brake , just look for wires in those areas and you should easily find the switches

or u can take out the temperature switch and get it cleaned up and make sure ur radiator cap is good too.
