This is so true because i can bounce my ZX7R up in second on power it comes down to timing, practice and *****. If my 460 pound ZX7R can bounce up in second on power the ZX9 And 954 should be bouncin in third!!!!!!!

Some advice for you guys learning this trick, do it with the throttle and only the throttle first. Its eaiser to control. Both you guys should have no problem standing it up (zx900 & 954). Its all in the bounce. Get a good stiff bounce at or above 5000rpm and wack the throttle. If its not standing up, A.) not bouncing hard enough, B.) bike is broken *954 in particular, or C.) you guys are to nervious, and in that case shouldn't be doing them. On a side note, I do it both with the clutch and without, with the clutch requires more timing and its easier to loop your bike if you over do it and don't cover that back brake. Hey, another way to ease into them is when you see those little hills, as you crest them, stand it up, I and stand mine in 4th if I catch them right, no clutch. Hope that helps, be careful.

is it best to learn standups in 1st or 2nd gear? in 1st it comes back quick standing, maybe i need more practice, just kinda scared in 2nd because of the speed, i know there isnt as much torque in 2nd though and its prolly easier to learn? anyone? peace

Has anyone bounced up a Katana 600 in 2nd gear? I know it's a horrible bike to stunt, but I've seen some pretty cool **** on Kat's. I can Endo it all day long, but whelis are a once in a blue moon thing. I know.............heavy, long Tuna, but its had to have been done before. Any help would be appec.

Im not sure whether something is wrong with my 929 or what but I can bring it up no problem in 1st. 2nd Im told should pop up just switching the gears. Ive even brought the tach up about halfway through the dial and popped the clutch and it still doesnt lift it. Whats the best way to ride a standing wheelie for a long ways?

Are you only bouncing when you throttle it or also when you clutch it as well?
