basically in the title, I mainly use it as a commuter bike but the other night I went to slip the clutch in second(like ive done a million times before) and instead of some fun I got what felt like the transmission slipping. Anyone ever have a problem like this or know anthing about what it might be. My sprockets are good by the way

 

might just need new clutch plates....easy fix if it is. a hell of alot easier than doin tranny work

 

could also be your clutch cable. my 03 did that to me i thought my clutch was going and realized my clutch cable was old and wasnt releasing quickly. replaced it and it was like new again.

 

yup! always check the cheaper stuff before you get to the expensive ****

 

its good to check the cheaper stuff buy R6's are KNOWN for second gear going, generally bent or warn shift forks
