I bought this bike, it needs the block welded where it has the mounting tabs for the stator cover, Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, an did you have it welded or brazed an how did it work out?

Orlando, where you at man, need help, can you do it?

 

TIG welding is the way to go for this.

 

Tig welding it is the only thing that will work, Ive done it numerous times with success. especially on 929's

 

Thanks guys. I believe thats how I will go. Now too find some one I can afford an is a good aluminum welder, Im gonna check up at the bimini boat top place up the street. Figure they can build Gorgeous Towers on boats then they can handle this **** right here.lol.
