Re: F4i wont start.

jump your starter solenoid... Not sure where it is on that bike but there should be a positive n negative wire goin to it, take a screwdriver and jump the 2 sides together... ihad this same prob with my gsxr600 last summer, turned out to be the starter solenoid. goodluck.

Re: F4i wont start.

So you have power but no starter ?

Did you try to short the relay starter relay ?
If you got power after you turn the switch on, and the starter relay fuse is good (but double check it) by connecting the + and - of the relay, you need to get a good start, if not your starter relay need to be replaced

the relay is under the rider seat.

Re: F4i wont start.

You guys aren't hearing any clicking at all? I'd start by checking the easy stuff. Check and make sure the battery has good voltage, check your main fuse, clutch safety switch (if its still there, or ur bypass), sidestand switch, ect.

What happens if you try to bump-start the bike? Does it run?

Re: F4i wont start.

theres also a diode inside the ignition.. USUALLY when that blows.. you get power.. but bike wont start..BUT it DOES turn over.. but u can check it.. pull it off and take black piece on bottom off and look at it. or use a flash light n try n see it. other then that check your plugs.. make sure everything is plugged in all the way. and like they said.. try n jump solenoid its under the driver seat should have a red cap to it.. the main fuse is right next to it.. youll see two bolts.. get a screw driver or needle nose or something and touch the two bolts and see if she turns over
