Question 2nd Gear Wheelies On R6

I'm now to the point that I can loft the front up in 1st using the throttle on a 2002 R6. Now I want to carry the wheelie farther. What is the best way to wheelie in 2nd and, or 3rd?

if u havent geared one tooth down in the front already, do that and than bring them up in 2nd with a little clutch and youll find ur wheelies going from a a few undred feet to a few blocks, and if u switch into 3rd u can go forever....

Gearing will help but its not a neccesity to do 2nd gear wheelies on your bike. I would just be accelerating and around 40 mph pull the clutch in and let it out quick. Dont pop the clutch but let it out pretty fast. My old 01 R6 would come up nice and easy in 2nd.

learn to bounce 2nd
If you wanna wheelie longer then it's time to learn how to do standups.... just make sure you cover the brake.
