Bike wont start!!!

I was riding yesterday for 2 hours until------ I was getting ready to cluth up when the bike died in mid wheelie and almost fliped me over the bars! I tried starting the bike and it turned on,but as soon as i put in gear to pull off it turned off--that happened like three more times till the bike wont even turn on!! i checked fuses so im kinda thinking its my fuel pump!! any suggestion?

Re: Bike wont start!!!

Check your side stand switch.

Make sure that when your side stand is up, the little plunger comes all the way out.

If in doubt, bypass the switch.

did you jump the tipover sensor at the grey plug where you upper harness plugs into? my buddy had the same problem it was just a bad connection where he jumped his tip over sen. sounds like a loose wire but you may have actually burnt something

Hmmm mine is doing something similar too. First time i've rode in months and now it died and fuel pump won't prime. All fuses are good.

Does your fuel pump prime?

Does the bike turn over but not fire up?
