I can't find any pictures of people welding plates to add strength on the bottom frame spar. I remember seeing someone weld a plate in and can't find anything when I search. if you have a link or pictures please post'em up

 

its 1/4 aluminum plate,cost me 80 bucks to get done

 

cool, so you just put that little plate on and problems solved? seen a picture of someone who had the whole area filled in also do you know who has that done? did you have a little hairline crack right at the weld...

 

yeah I had a crack on one side that was pretty long,like over an inch and was starting to work its way to the main support,so my welder welded the crack and added the plates.That was about a year ago and Ive had no problems since

wondo has the whole gap filled in and its all polished,**** looks badass

 

yeah wondo,,,,that was the bike. that **** looks beefy. sucks have a little crack doesn't seem to be getting any worse and I don't feel like taring it down while theres no snow on the ground. guess I'll keep an eye out and do it up this winter.
