i know there are plenty of guys rocking the 2006 ninja. has anyone has issues with the idle choppin up and down ? i keep my idle around 3500 but if i go anywhere near 4 it will fluxuate up and down alottttt!!

idk if this may be something common or something wrong with the bike. it has been tossed down the road a few times from the last owner.

 

nothing ? vacuum leak maybe ?

take to my mechanic ? lol

 

just keep it under 4 then. No need to be that high anyways.

 

i know...its hard to explain but it seems like if im in the gas above 4 grand and let off it slams down. im just learning the slow **** so i let my boy ride it and he says something is wrong with it too...said it feels like my boys new 600rr

bikes running alot better now. i finally started catching idle more consistant and the bike kept shuttin off on me. so after mouse trapping about 10 times i loaded up the truck and started crying like someone took my ice cream. my friends wanted to figure out if it was the bike or the rider lol...we figured out the last owner mounted the tip over sensor like a retard so when i hit idle my bike died after a few seconds. i basically had an anti wheelie button. we re mounted the sensor for now and it worked great
