sure but unless you are doing it your self the labor will be more than a used motor

if you are lucky you may not even need to replace the piston , you may just have a bent valve ...

as far as the parts go i don't know ,the labor is what would be expensive

Re: Locked up

ya man, sucks big time.....i "almost" fukkd up my valves too.

if i was you, and didn't have $ to drop on a new motor...i'd recommend just buying a new head...for f4is they are anywhere from $50-$100....head gasket will run you another $50.

so around $200 including head, gasket, new coolant and oil.

hit me up if you decide to do this, i just did it on my bike. it was a pain in the ***...but if the motor is shot, who gives a ****...at least you'll learn a little.

Re: Locked up

hope you didn't ding a valve man, you can bend them from turning the crank by hand most times man. if you didn't have the cam chain off or anything tho..

try tapping on the srarter case see if it's the solenoid or the contacts that transfer power to the starter motor after the solenoid pops out to mesh the drive and the crank gear. post up and let us know...and move on from there....check all your battery and starter connections, factory grounds to body...

if you dinged your valves it may not need pistond or conrods...just valves...but sounds like you got this motor hurt man.....tear it aprt and physically see what the dilly is.

you may nedd many valves and many pistons , not just one for one cylinder...you could have done some real nasty damage in there....but i'll let dirty feet do the talking for ya...

well, the valves are IN the head...so a new head will have all the goodies in there(assuming the seller didn't gut it)

the pistons are seperate...just hope they're nt fuckkd.

take the head off, post pics, and then we'll see wats damanged.
