Re: db bar conversion

I have the same bike, with tag t2 bars and some kinda risers.

The way i had to do was lowere my forks in the triples, take the screw outta the brake line mount on the triple, rotate the front line about the banjo bolt at the master.

My handbrake line fit fine, its the one that came with the full throttle kit from hai. My throttle cable were also find but you myswell replace your throttle housing with 1000rr houseing cause mine cracked and the tube came off in my hand while trying to turn into a circle (kinda trying haha) That 1000rr houseing can use stock or the 1000rr cables btw. And Finally i couldnt find a way to route my clutch cable to fit nicely. So i ordered a +4" line from motion pro (Expensive but well worth it, my old line was pretty beat).

Overall with the troules youll have putting em on i think its work it, plus it gives you extra room on the bar for controls....(untill you get a easy pull and 1000rr master on the left side and you gotta find a way to rig up your choke cause that housing doesnt fit ahaha)

Anyway good luck and feel free to pm me if you need help

now i do have hoheys finest tripple with tag risers and bars i also rotated my ignition button forward so the cables dont bind up.

Re: db bar conversion

just put the conversion kit from hai on mine they sent me longer brake lines and thats it i had to kinda move my throttle cable around the forks but didnt need a longer one. i have a 99 f4 also. just gotta move it so your lines dont get tight when you turn you bars.

i like the bars they sit low, as far as too far back etc you can adjust them where you want them by just rotating them back and forth while they are in the risers . once you get them where they are comfy for you just tighten down the riser.
