new pistons in 03 f4i help, bike wont kick over

my rod bearings went out, so we replaced them, along with pistons, piston rings, pins and all that. bikes all put together and everything seems normal, except when i push the start button, the bike doesnt want to kick over, the relay seems to click. fuel pump sounds strong, everythings connected. what can we do to kick over a bike with fresh pistons????????

Did you free spin the crank several times after assembly before putting on all the component?

+1. make sure that **** works first.. as well, make sure the motor is free. rings shouldn't seize within a day or week or whatever.

you re-hone?

you oil the rings upon intallation?

sure it's the crank not allowing movement? could be cams bound up..

lots of variables.. check the simple **** first as always.. good luck!

hey everyone, im still gettin a kinda crazy knock noise when the engine gets up to about 5 thousand rpms. what else can be damaged when rod bearings go out, i had to ride it a few miles to get home as soon as my bike started making that noise to begin with. rod bearing on only one cylinder were messed up, what else can be making a crazy knock noise from inside the motor????
