Untucking Frame?

Is there any way to untuck a frame on a '04 636 if it has a very minor tuck? I was literally contemplating pulling two different directions with hydraulic pullers. It appears to be tucked about 1". The bike is still rideable as-is, but I'd like to get it back to straight if at all possible. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: Untucking Frame?

thats essentially what they do on a frame jig, for cars. but they also use lasers, and other measurements to make sure the car is perfectly square.

i htink your better off buying another frame, and stamping your numbers onto it.

That's what I figured; my bike is a clean title bike so I want it to stay that way. I was still thinking about trying to straighten it a little so it's even more rideable and then I will keep a clean spare frame if I ever sell it.

Re: Untucking Frame?

aluminum only really bends good once so bending it back will probably crack it or at least make it weaker
