F4i running problem

F4i running problem
So I was riding today and crashed(not hard). I went to start the bike and it will not run in gear. It will run fine in neutral but when you shift it into gear it shuts off. It's as if the kickstand were down, but that seems find. I don't know what else it could be so any help would be appreciated.
